Service Description

The intention of this class is to acclimate new students to the practice of yoga. Through the introduction of proper alignment, breath awareness, and utilizing your gaze, you will feel more confident and comfortable to step into a yoga studio, or to begin an at-home practice. Modifications will be offered to either increase or lighten the intensity of your practice. You can expect classical yoga postures and an emphasis on the foundations of yoga which include the physical practice as well as an acknowledgment of the mental, emotional, and spiritual experience. This session aims to provide you space to get curious about your body and breath as you find small but sacred moments of stillness.
